Public Service Announcement Hotel Infinity Residences Koh Samui
I believe it to be my civic duty as a citizen of the world with access to the world wide web to warn all fellow travellers against staying at Infinity Resorts Koh Samui.
I have created this website to educate and not to harm.
I do this from a place of consciousness and duty owed to other travellers seeking to share my own experience.
This is not done from a place of anger nor is it designed to achieve any type of revenge.
People need to know the truth about what can also potentially happen to them as well.
Even though many instances of negative feedback against this resort can also be found on Trip Advisor, I felt that a bigger story needed to be told. The full story shall follow soon.
For now, let's just say that we found our lodgings supremely misrepresented from what we believed we were receiving from the websites pics/video and were forced to pay in full and up front 72 hrs prior to arriving (the payment system in place one could argue is premeditatedly tactical given the difference between what is advertised and what is reality).
Then, within the first 24hrs of staying at Infinity we had to deal with a death within our immediate family that required us to leave the resort.
Management kept our entire payment in advance and wouldn't allow us to return to the room when we arrived back from dealing with the death a week later - even though we had paid for and arrived during the time we had booked the apartment.
They did this stating that we had broken the agreement. We were also threatened even though we are only a young family with 3 small children.

What You Actually Get
Hanging spider webs, dirty, untreated, stained surfaces throughout. Broken doors that do not open and close properly on rusty rollers. Unpolished glass doors and broken door handles.
What You're Promised
Amazing private lap pools with gorgeous views.
What You Actually Get
Fungus filled pools with dirty water and no cleaning mechanisms. Putrid smelling and stained tiles. Pool ladders barely bolted to the poolside threatening to tear off.

Picture perfect rooms, immaculately presented with clean bedspreads.
What You Actually Get
Creased and stained bed spreads, damaged walls, peeling paint and dirty ceilings. Smell of damp with insect prevalent.
What You're Promised
World Class Apartments featuring incredible views perched atop a mountain in Koh Samui.
What You Actually Get
Damp smelling and dirty apartments. Stained floors, stained white (faux leather) furniture, stained rugs, damaged walls, damaged and stained tiles, doors that don’t work and basically rooms considerably less than what you would expect in a 3 Star apartment.
